Mel and I close year 2009 photography session with Edmond and Alisa’s wedding in Penang, 12.31.2009. The mood and atmosphere in the air is filled with joyful songs and greetings, both from Christmas and New Year celebration. Everyone is happy and relax – including the bride and groom! Naturally, it makes me feel good and comfortable.
After the hardwork on “door crashing” and negotiation by the groom and his fellow buddies, the challenge didn’t stop there, Edmond got to hunt the bride’s missing pair shoe to complete the whole “heng-dai & zi-mui” session. I salute and respect Edmond for being super sporting and take on all the challenges.
Immediately after that, we proceed with the holy matrimony in Immaculate Conception Church Penang. By far this is the most challenging place to do photography shooting and it’s the hardest I have done. Being a videographer or photographer may not grant you to have special access to stand wherever you want. Besides, I was reluctant to use my flashes throughout the whole session as not to distract everyone attention. So, for the whole indoor shooting, I was shooting at high ISO and wide open aperture.
Finally we conclude the wedding photo shooting with family portraits and tea ceremony session.
p/s: Dear Edmond and Alisa,
Mel and I wish both of you a happy and blessed marriage. Thank you for being a great couple/client.
