Here’s are photos taken last week wedding dinner reception of Derek + Jacklyn at The Mansion 32 – Penang. This is their third and the last wedding dinner reception; and I am grateful to be their wedding photographer for both wedding dinner receptions held in Penang. Both Derek and Jacklyn are super cool couple and very friendly. At the same time they are very gifted in wedding planning – they know what they wanted and able to realize the ideal wedding party. The Mansion 32 is a very nice place to organize any functions when your have a smaller crowds/guests. There’s also a lot of photography opportunity inside and around the building.
By far, this is the most challenging lighting condition that I have ever work in, the lights are very dim (when the party starts) – sometimes the camera wasn’t able to lock the focusing point. I tried to keep my camera ISO setting below 3200, sometimes I have to sacrifice for higher noise than a blurry images. But this is one of my most enjoyable wedding photography assignment – I just love the uncertainty and the challenge.
